WK Rig rings

The first thing a carp does after picking up the hookbait and feeling the hook is spitting out the hookbait. All underwater footage shows that this happens in a split second. We use these rig rings to give the WK Rig a blowback effect. Blowback effect means that the carp can spit out the hookbait without the hook flying out with it. The hookbait slides through the rig ring to the hook eye, so the hook point remains in the mouth.
If you don't use a rig ring, when spitting out the hookbait, it will act as a lever, helping the hook to fly out of the mouth. Especially with wary carp, we see this in underwater footage. Before the carp leaves, it first tries to spit out the hookbait several times to get rid of the hook. Over the entire season, there is a good chance that you will make extra catches by using a rig ring.
This size is ideal for hook sizes 6, 4 and 2. Only if you use hook size 8 or hook size 1 would I use a slightly smaller or larger rig ring.
