Our WK Clip is a revolutionary innovation for clipping your line. Yet, it started as a simple idea to tension the main line taut above the water with a slack line to your rig. Also known as the 'washing line method'.
No other system works on this principle where you can put as much tension on the line from the rod as needed, and on the rig side, any fish can effortlessly pull the line out of the clip. With all other methods of line clipping, you have to pull equally hard on both sides to get the line out of the clip. Often resulting in discomfort or a bream on the line.
The advantages of clipping your line with the WK CLIP:
The WK Clips don't wear out, and once you have them, you'll use them more and more. It's an investment in your fishing.
With a leader, make 4 wraps. With thinner lines, make 6 to 8 wraps. You'll notice this automatically when you clip the line. The clip can be used with all types of line (braided/nylon/fluorocarbon) from 0.30mm up to 0.70mm. You will see the wraps in the line, but the line will not be damaged.
NOTE: The old WK CLIP is not suitable for all lines! Only for a leader of at least 0.50mm. The 2025 version of the WK CLIP has been completely renewed, and we will exchange your old clips for free.
Do you want to exchange your old WK CLIPS for the 2025 version? No problem. Send us a message via chat or an email to info@kwintenfishing.nl, and we will exchange your old WK CLIP for the new 2025 version for free; you only pay the shipping costs. Hundreds of hours of development have gone into the WK CLIP to make it fish-safe for all lines, and we fully stand behind the quality of our product!
Because the carp at your spot won't encounter a taut line, you'll get more bites. The carp simply won't notice that fishing is taking place at the spot because there's no taut line leading to it.
This unique line clipping technique was conceived and developed by me (Willem Kwinten) into this registered product. It has been in use and under development for 10 years. With the new design, clipping the line is a breeze. The clips are of high quality and won't break. So it's a long-term investment! I always carry 4 in my bag, and that has saved me a lot of frustration and resulted in many fish. You might just need one!
