Tested for years by Ruben Pels and genuinely the most effective bait wrap against crabs, lobsters, and other critters.
The size of the bait wrap also corresponds to the size of the hookbait that fits inside. For example: a 20mm boilie fits snugly in a 20mm bait wrap. If you add a piece of pop-up to it as a snowman, then choose a 25mm bait wrap.
Boil water really hard (100 degrees Celsius) to achieve the 2:1 shrinkage ratio for the neatest finish. After steaming, you can soak your prepared hookbaits in a jar.
The transparent one has the thickest wall and is indestructible.
The red variant has a normal wall and is more subtle. Red is a warm color that is picked up fastest by carp.
The custom-cut pieces are cut to the correct length for the hookbait:
15mm bait wrap is cut to 13mm length
20mm bait wrap is cut to 17mm length
25mm bait wrap is cut to 20mm length
30mm bait wrap is cut to 25mm length
40mm bait wrap is cut to 30mm length
