To get the bend in the shrink tube in the right place, all you have to do is place the hook in the shrink tube steamer and hold it in the steam from the kettle or whistling kettle. Make sure to steam it at maximum heat to ensure the shrink tube shrinks completely tight. The white stripe indicates how far the shrink tube should go.
