I had this stainless steel pliers custom-made with all my desired features combined.
- A pointed tip with gripping teeth
- slots for crimps
- Good grip for flattening barbs or removing a hook.
Tip: If your hook is blunt and you want to reuse the shot on the hook: flatten the barb. It couldn't be easier!
For unhooking carp, I advise always trying it by hand first and only using pliers in an emergency.
